JODI R. NETZER is a multi-talented creative communicator as a Performing Artist (Dance/Theatre, Stilt-Dancing, Puppetry, Installation Performance), Graphic Designer (Print, Web, TV), Visual Artist, Video/Sound Artist, Writer, Event Organizer, Networker, Arts Advocate, and life/business coach.
A graduate of Philadelphia's Drexel University in 1997, Jodi has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Graphic Design with a double concentration in Film/Video and Performing Arts with enough credits for a triple major.
Jodi is CEO of GoGoKarma™ LLC, a personal improvement and community engagement brand creating a happier, healthier, and more sustainable world through coaching, events, social game app (in production), and more.
Jodi is the Director and Lead Coach of Tucson Entrepreneurs, a business coaching, mindset mastery, and networking group.
From 2009-2014, Jodi was the Outreach & Marketing Director and the Director/Facilitator of the Dance Theatre Program of Tucson Arts Brigade, an arts education organization specializing in community cultural development.
Jodi was the Founder / Director / Producer of THE WATER FESTIVAL: Synergy of Art, Science, and Community presented by Tucson Arts Brigade (2009-2013), which raises awareness, promotes stewardship, and fosters creative expression for the future of our most precious and endangered resource — water. It featured a diverse program: Enviro-Vendor Fair, Policy Panel, Community Brainstorms, Workshops from personal wellness to sustainable ecosystems, Art Show, Performances, Art Happenings, Film Festival, Cross-Cultural/Inter-Faith Water Ritual, 3-Mile Walk for Water, Design for Water Solutions Contest, and more. Developed through cross-sector collaborations, the Festival combines the many voices of Artists, Water Experts, City/County/State Politicians and Agencies, Educators, Businesses, Local Organizations, Youth, Native Americans and other community members/groups to proactively engage in addressing water issues.
As part of Jodi's many endeavors, she was the Founder, Artistic Director, Programmer, and Featured Artist for The Bumpin' Big Top, a circus that ran for 2 years during the Philadelphia Fringe Festival; has performed at several conferences; and has toured the country with puppet and dance shows. Graphic design credits include Art Director of the Philadelphia Fringe Festival, Book Designer for Whirlwind Press, and Graphic Designer for many other artists, non-profits, and businesses. Video credits include projections for Group Motion Dance Company performances; "Table Dance", a dance film presented by Philadelphia Dance Projects in Dance Boom!; and "WATER WARS", a motivational / promotional video series for Jerry Yudelson, a green builder and water expert.
Jodi taught puppetry and stilt-dancing at Bread & Puppet and Spiral Q Puppettheatre, and teaches workshops live and online incorporating all of her vast and eclectic dance/theatre experiences. Jodi is self-taught and has acquired experience with performers from around the world, including Butoh, clown, contact improvisation, Viewpoints, other physical theatre, African, and modern dance.
Jodi was honored to be asked to audition for "America's Got Talent," which coincided with her directorship at The Water Festival.
In both solo and group projects, Jodi works with
themes relevant to time and place, especially about interconnectivity, holistic health and well-being, and advocacy for the arts and socio-political-envivonmental awareness with creative solutions in life and business to make the world a better place.
Jodi has been the legal assistant and, posthumously, the substitute party for Arek R. Fressadi on litigation in all levels of Arizona and federal courts: real estate, personal injury, fraud, racketeering, trust/probate, due process violations, attorney/judicial misconduct, and more. Jodi advocates for reform of the (in)justice system.
